A Community Garden in Leytonstone

A community garden can be a place for people of all ages to enjoy growing food, learning and sharing skills, and enjoying the harvest.  After our showing of A Farm for the Future in March, we invited people to discuss this idea, and there was a lot of interest and enthusiasm.
We’ve been looking into ways to help make it happen, so we are holding a public meeting at the Centre to discuss ideas.  The meeting will be attended by representatives of Davies Lane School, and Pastures Youth Centre, who are very supportive of the idea.
Meeting details:

Thursday 19th May, 6.30 – 8.30 pm
St John’s Church Hall, Between the church and Matalan, off the High Road

We’d like to hear as many perspectives and ideas as possible, so please come along.
