A Community Garden in Leytonstone
A community garden can be a place for people of all ages to enjoy growing food, learning and sharing skills, and enjoying the harvest. After our showing of A Farm for the Future in March, we invited people to discuss this idea, and there was a lot of interest and enthusiasm.
We’ve been looking into ways to help make it happen, so we are holding a public meeting at the Centre to discuss ideas. The meeting will be attended by representatives of Davies Lane School, and Pastures Youth Centre, who are very supportive of the idea.
