Fruit and Veg stall for Leytonstone
After the showing of ‘A Farm for the Future’ in March, we announced that we are working with Organiclea and the Hornbeam Centre to start a stall selling locally grown, organic fruit and vegetables and other produce. Well, it’s happening! St. John’s Church have offered us a site, and we hope the stall will open at the beginning of July. It will make fresh local produce available to people in Leytonstone, and there will also be the opportunity to sell other locally produced food such as jams, bread, and surplus fruit and veg grown by local people.
If you’d like to help make this happen by volunteering on the stall, contributing ideas, publicity… .or if you’re just interested, please come to a meeting and see the site:
